Electronic Controls:
Brand’s newest EC Series Electronic Control was designed to meet our customer’s needs in one small weather-proof box. Supply voltage can be either 12 or 24 volts DC. Input signals can be any of the following six: potentiometer, 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, 0-5 VDC, 1-5 VDC, or 0-10 VDC. Give Brand Hydraulics a call to see how our control can be used in your application. Series 95 Flow Control Valve:
Brand has decided to reinstate the Series 95 flow control valve. This valve functions the same as the FC51. Both work ports are pressure compensated and flow from the CF port can be varied from 0-19 gpm. It is compact in size and designed for panel mounting. The model codes for the three-port and two-port version are 95A-3/4 and 95A-3/42P respectively. For more information, please see our series 95 literature at www.brand-hyd.com.
Die-Cast Endcap:
Beginning this fall, Brand will start using a die cast end-cap on AO, SDCF, LS and TS valves. Overall length, where this end-cap is used, will increase by 4/10 of an inch. This end-cap is going to be used on all of the following options: spring centering (S), friction detent (F1), 3-position detent (D), spring offset (SO), spring offset (SO2), spring center/detent (SD), two-position detent (2D and D2), and spring center/friction detent (SF1)
AO and LS Castings:
Brand has improved its manufacturing processes on the AO and LS products. The savings will be passed onto the customer in applications that require large quantities at a competitive price. Please give the sales department a call for further information.
Brand Hydraulics Achieves Certification to ISO 9001:2000 WITH DESIGN:
Brand Hydraulics has recently become certified to ISO 9001, 2000 WITH DESIGN. Certification means that Brand Hydraulics will use the ISO 9001, 2000 WITH DESIGN standard to define the framework that drives Brand’s Quality System. Brand’s quality system encompasses management, R & D, manufacturing, purchasing, contracts, warehouse, shipping, etc… The procedures, work instructions, documents and forms give Brand Hydraulics the structure to consistently provide quality products and services. Brand Hydraulics is proud to be certified, but at the same time realizes that there is always room for improvement.
